The challenge
The automaker’s marketing websites ran on on-premise AEM infrastructure, serving several brands and a steady stream of new digital initiatives. Growth meant the platform had to scale further, deploy faster and be easier for developers to work on.
Components first
The work began with custom AEM components and new platform functionality to support evolving marketing needs across brands.
The migration
Our role grew into architecting the move from on-premise AEM to Adobe Cloud Manager: the cloud architecture, environment strategy, CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows an enterprise AEM platform needs, plus technical leadership for the engineering teams through the transition.
Results
- Better platform scalability
- Faster, more reliable deployments
- A better developer experience
- A platform positioned for long-term growth
