The task
Deliver a redesigned web experience built on strong information architecture and well-organized content, while keeping scrolling to a minimum and conveying the modern feel DCBA wanted.
Strategy
Our strategy work focused on simplifying the IA while still letting users dig into practice areas and capabilities. We created a hierarchy no deeper than two levels, with expandable content blocks for more detail on a topic.

User experience
We turned what we learned in strategy into high-fidelity wireframes covering users, personas and their goals. They set the exact layout, typography and functionality and served as the 1:1 blueprint for design.

Interface design
We brought the wireframes to life with color, type and imagery. UX and UI are iterative and went through several rounds with the client. For this project the final design departs a bit from the wireframes, and that’s by design.

Development
We built a fully custom WordPress experience: easy to use on the front end, with a custom back end that lets DCBA’s authors add, edit and remove content themselves.
