Wordmark

Charles wanted a classic, timeless, wordmark to be able to use on all of his marketing materials and across his website.  His requirements were that the logo be black & white, type based, and that it evoked the level of polish that his listings have.  Our solution to this was a simple interlocking C motif since his first and last name start with the letter “C.”  The interlocking C’s can be used on their own as an independent mark or in combination with his full name for larger format applications such as a letterhead.

The Site

Carrying on the theme of his wordmark & logo, the site is clean, polished, and mostly black and white.  The site carries on the the simplicity of his logo while adding enough functionality for home listings , searching for listings, and featuring sold listings for his clients.  The site has a backend that allows him to edit whenever he wants and also integrates with his preferred MLS listing tool so that he does not have to create the full listings himself.

A few key features to call out about this site are:

  • IDX integration so that pages and listings can be generated based on data pulled from the IDX
  • Quick organization of DC neighborhoods – clicking one of these will pull up a pre-filtered listing of homes in these neighborhoods
  • Custom backend so that Charles can manage the site with minimal help from a developer
